The V-650 is a double-beam spectrophotometer with a photomultiplier tube (PMT) detector. The high sensitivity of the PMT enables accurate measurements up to 4 OD units. The V-650 also enables the use of solid sample handling accessories, such as integrating spheres to collect diffuse light transmitted or reflected by the sample.

Jasco offers systems with low stray light*, using a double monochromator and UV/Vis/NIR systems.

Special sample holders and analysis tools are available for lifescience applications, dissolution testing, color analysis etc.

*Stray light:
1% (198 nm KCl, 12 g/l aqueous solution)
0.005% (220 nm NaI, 10 g/l aqueous solution)
0.005% (340 nm NaNO2, 50 g/l aqueous solution)
0.005% (370 nm NaNO2, 50 g/l aqueous solution)

The FT/IR-4100LE is an upgradeable model with basic sample handling as standard. The system can easily be upgraded to handle more complex samples.

Expandable capabilities include FT-IR microscopy, IR imaging and rapid scan measurement. Near-IR and far-IR models are

available.
