PU-2080 with LG-2080 gradient examples
The JASCO HPLC pumps are designed to produce reproducible and accurate gradients. In combination with the low pulsation is possible to connect our HPLC gradient systems to a variety of MS systems
| Example 1: 40% A - 41% A, 0.1% gradient steps |
This example shows the excellent pump performance. 0.1% per step means that every step represents a flow change per pump of 1 µl/min.!!
Conditions:
High pressure gradient 2 x PU-2080 pumps, MX-2080-32 mixer,
UV-2075 UV/Vis detector, Flow: 1 ml/min, P=50 Bar, Eluent: B=Water, A= 0.001% caffeine
water
| Example 2: 40% A - 50% A, 1% gradient steps | Example 3: 0%A - 100%A, 10% gradient steps |
PU-2080 pulsation examples
The very low pulsation of the PU-2080 enables the possibility to interface with
MS detectors of various kinds.
The next examples shows the pulsation measured directly at the pump head outlet.
Low pulsation is more difficult to achieve at low flow rate. It is therefore that
this example shows the pulsation at 10 µl./min.!!
FP-2020 signal to noise ration for the Raman band of water
The excellent S/N ration of the fluorescence detectors from JASCO is the main
reason for there success in sales. With the previous models, the FP-820, FP-81,
FP-920 and FP-1520 JASCO was able to get a world market share > 65%
The new FP-2020 even has a higher sensitivity as the graphs below shows:
| Noise, very much enlarged | Ramanband |

Conditions:
standard flowcell filled with distilled water, Ex. = 350 nm, Em. = 397 nm, Timeconstant = STD (2 sec. 98%)
